Political Scientist
Tenured Research Scientist, Institute of Public Goods and Policies (IPP), Spanish National Research Council (CSIC)

I am a political scientist working as a Tenured Research Scientist at the Institute of Public Goods and Policies, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and I hold accreditation as Full Professor (Catedrática de Universidad) from ANECA.

My research examines decentralization and federalism, affective polarization, and intergovernmental relations. I adopt a comparative perspective and employ quantitative methods to study the interaction between political institutions and electoral behavior. I am currently interested in analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence on multilevel governance and democratic accountability, as part of the project AI-GOV (PID2025-174631NB-I00), funded by the Spanish National Research Agency (AEI).
